Every marketer knows the hassle of managing content, mass emails, drip campaigns, and so many other tools that go into managing MQLs and current customers. In short, there’s always a lot of work and so little time to do it all equally. This is why we use HubSpot as our marketing automation software. In fact, we love HubSpot so much that we decided to become a HubSpot Certified Partner. HubSpot comes with a variety of tools to make automation easy so you can focus on other things. With that being said, here are some of our favorite HubSpot tools that help make our marketing lives a little easier.
HubSpot’s Email Tool allows you to create emails via templates with an easy drag and drop functionality. However, this tool really shines when it comes to the analytics that comes after an email is sent. HubSpot puts together the contacts that opened, clicked, or bounced from the list that recieved it. A/B testing also allows you to send two separate emails and see what aspects perform better. And when you tie emails into a campaign, you can see how a series of emails performed all together.
Workflows
This is your automatic drip campaign tool. Through enrollment criteria and actions that set off a certain course of events, workflows allow everything to be automated. You can include automated emails and set a series of actions based on the action before. All you have to worry about is monitoring the motion of the workflow. You can even attach it to a campaign to see how contacts are moving through it.
Calls-to-Action (CTA)
CTAs are a great way to entice your contacts to download an offer or take them to a landing page with a form. HubSpot allows you to customize them and they can be included in emails, landing pages, and web pages. HubSpot also tracks the metrics to let you know who clicked on them and where it was clicked.
Social Media
The Social Media Tool is all around pretty amazing. Besides being able to publish and schedule posts, the monitoring tool is what really shines. Monitoring allows you to keep track of new followers, post engagement, and any mentions. The best part about this tool is that you can look at your own Twitter timeline and monitor competitors, keywords, topics, and what people out there are saying about you. And with the reporting aspect, you can keep track of your accounts to focus on what works.
Campaigns
The Campaigns Tool allows you to have a general look on how your campaigns are performing. It shows how emails, CTAs, keywords, landing pages, and other tools are performing (as long as they’ve been tied to that campaign). This is the best way to see how your efforts mound up, what could be done differently, and what can be repeated to achieve a specific result.
