Bio: Angela Hill, CEO & Chief Creative Officer
When Angela Hill, known for her branding expertise, founded Incitrio Branding & Marketing Agency in 2004, she created a new word to brand her firm. The word “incitrio” is a combination of “incite” for action, “citrus” for “fresh” and “trio” to describe the three services they offer: brand, design, & media.
Her mission since Incitrio’s inception has been to “Make a Difference.” In addition to serving as creative director and managing a large staff, she has served on the board of the American Institute for Graphic Arts (AIGA), the No More SIDS Foundation, the American Marketing Association, High Tech Marketing Alliance, and more. She is actively involved in the non-profit community and most recently mentored a student team for TEDxYouth San Diego, mentored several start ups through the CONNECT Springboard Program, and served as the Marketing Resource Chair for San Diego Social Venture Partners. Today, she sits on the Marketing Advisory Committee for Cal State San Marcos helping them to refine their marketing curriculum so that graduates go into the workforce with the tools they really need to succeed.
Since its inception, Incitrio Branding & Marketing Agency has donated over $500,000 in pro bono creative work to non-profits throughout San Diego. Incitrio Branding & Marketing Agency continues donate an average of $50,000 or more of in-kind services to worthy charities and causes helping them to expand their reach and become more sustainable.
