The vampire craze continues as Starbucks launches their Count Dracula inspired Frappuccino, Frappula, this Halloween. Available for a limited time only on October 28th through 31st, the Frappula will have Twilight, Transylvania, Vampire Diaries and True Bloods fans running to try out the new ‘bloody’ concoction. The spooky drink consists of white chocolate sauce, milk, ice, mocha sauce, raspberry syrup, and topped with whipped cream.

As the Frappula re-engages Starbucks’ U.S. customers this Halloween, the ‘fangy’ drink will also be available in Canada between October 28 and November 1 and is already selling in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and a handful of other countries in Asia.

This isn’t the first time Starbucks has brought out a Halloween inspired drink. Last year they brought out the Franken Frappuccino, a green tea-flavored drink with peppermint syrup, white chocolate sauce, java chips, whipped cream and mocha drizzle. The Franken Frappuccino is still on the Starbucks secret menu, but you have to order it a specific way. Here’s the tip: Request a Thin Mint Frappuccino and sub mocha sauce for white chocolate sauce.

The Wired Zombie is another favorite on Starbucks’ secret menu. The creepy drink is actually quite refreshing. The drink is made with a Cool Lime Refresher, light lemonade without water, matcha green tea powder, classic syrup, and raspberry syrup to top it all off.

So where does all of the magic happen? In Starbucks’ “Liquid Lab,” a secure research and development space on the 7th floor of their headquarters in Seattle. When they first introduced the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) in 2003, Starbucks’ was looking to create a persona out of their drink. Ten years later, the PSL is still one of Starbucks’ most popularized drinks.

So for all the ‘basics’ out there, there is no need to worry because your Pumpkin Spice Latte is here to stay. We do, however, encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and check out these new drinks this holiday season:
