A.I. is going to change the way we interact with the world. Although we are already starting to see it, A.I. will make a more prominent presence as the years go by and the technology advances. One of the places it will change, for sure, is marketing. A lot of marketers in retail are already using A.I. to personalize recommendations to their customers. An even crazier statistic? Research from Accenture Interactive shows that 8 in 10 B2B marketing executives believe that A.I. is set to revolutionize the marketing industry by 2020.
86% of marketers overall believe that A.I. will make their work more efficient and effective.
So what does this all mean? Well, A.I. is already in our lives with Siri, Cortana, the Echo, and many others. They all have one thing in common, they are all spoken too. This offers a new opportunity to optimize content for voice searches. Buyers are now searching in terms of looking for recommendations rather than searching in phrases. Instead of “Best Italian Food” people are searching “What should I have for dinner?” Everything will change from AdWords bidding to how advertisers showcase products and how brands present themselves in the digital realm.
Technology is advancing at a rapid pace so it’s important to keep up with latest trends. A.I., once perfected, will be here to stay and will offer marketers to take advantage of smarter workflows, more catered lead nurturing, better retargeting methods, and allows marketers to focus more on strategy rather than implementation.
